Vinyasa Flow

In a vinyasa flow class breath is synchronized with movement as postures flow one into the other in careful sequences. This vigorous style of hatha yoga builds heat, endurance, flexibility, strength. Sequencing is often built around sun salutations.
 
Level 1 vinyasa flow:
This class is designed for the new student or the student with limited experience. This class will be a combination of measured flow and hold with time spent on step-by-step explanation of how to create a pose with an emphasis on proper alignment.
 
Level 2 vinyasa flow:
This class is for students who are comfortable with the postures introduced at the basic level and who feel ready to explore additional poses integrated into a faster paced flow.  Introduction to inversions, arm balances and deeper backbends may be offered in this class.
 
Open level vinyasa flow:
This level class is for the experienced level 1 and level 2 student.  Your teacher will modify the level of difficulty based on the students present.  Not recommended for new beginners. 
 
Level 2/3 vinyasa flow:
This class is for the experienced student with an understanding of hatha yoga. The student can expect a vigorous flow style class designed to expand awareness of breath and physically challenge the body.  This class will build on the introduction to inversions, deeper back bends and arm balance poses offered in the level 2 vinyasa flow class.
