Sylvia Samilton Baker, MA, RYT has been a student of yoga  for a few decades.  Subsequent to studying with several yoga masters, she completed her 200 hour training at Yoga Haven and went on to become trained in Vinyasa flow with Shiva Rea.  Sylvia has been teaching for the past seven years and combines vinyasa flow with properties of alignment, prana and joyful fun in the practice of yoga.  She is presently working toward completing her Advanced Professional Level 500 hours at Kripalu where she began the path of yoga during the early 1980's.  Sylvia believes yoga can be accessible to everyone and works at bringing yoga to those who would not normally consider yoga as being life changing.  Sylvia realizes  the changes the  practice of yoga has exhibited in her life and feels socioeconomically disadvantaged, homeless, single mothers would greatly benefit from this practice as would anyone who believes in change.
