Instructor: Sarah Knox, RYT

Sarah Knox has been teaching yoga since 1997. She has certifications from Yoga Zone (now Yoga Works) and Yoga Haven, and has just completed a 72-hour course in Yoga Anatomy at The Breathing Project. She has been happily teaching at Yoga Haven since 2000.
Sarah experienced a low-back injury in 2001, which transformed her yoga practice and her teaching. Through that experience she discovered the healing potential of the breath, and began to emphasize the connection between breath and movement as a way to develop strength and
flexibility in a meaningful and safe way. She brings to her teaching a deep respect for the needs and abilities of each student, and strives to create a non-competitive and nurturing atmosphere in her classes.
