Adjusting to life after birth, physically as well as mentally, takes time and care. Mommy & Baby yoga is a beautiful way to nurture your body and mind. Through the focus of yoga postures, moms can begin to heal, strengthen, realign the spine and support the core to relieve lower back pain. Breathing techniques are taught to quiet the mind, develop patience and relaxation. This class strives to offer moms and babies the time to experience yoga, enabling moms the opportunity to take care of themselves, while deepening their bond with their baby. Yoga Haven’s strong sense of community provides support to moms during this important time and going forward.
For mothers and newborns, 6 weeks to walking. Attendance at prenatal yoga classes is not a prerequisite. We support both breast- and bottlefeeding during class, and encourage even moms of “fussy” babies to come. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
