Spinal asymmetry resulting from scoliosis can create complications or confusion when practicing yoga. A yoga for scoliosis class helps students with scoliosis better understand their curve(s) and work with specific postures and the breath to develop body awareness, achieve spinal extension and length, and build core and back strength. This work can bring more symmetry and less pain in their bodies, both on and off the mat. Modifications and techniques will also be discussed as how to incorporate this work into a more general class setting. We run a variety of classes and workshops throughout the year. Please contact us for more information.

This class strives to offer moms and babies the time to experience yoga, enabling moms the opportunity to take care of themselves, while deepening their bond with their baby. Yoga Haven's strong sense of community provides support to moms during this important time and going forward. For mothers and newborns, 6 weeks to walking.
