Gathering With Grief

Grief is a natural, normal, human response to loss, and grief comes in all shapes and sizes. If you are experiencing grief of any kind, please know that you are not alone. In this monthly offering led by Emily, you will learn how grief affects the body and the mind, and how yoga helps to regulate the nervous system. Each session explores different tools to help you navigate your grief, including an active yoga practice, a softer yoga practice, pranayama breathing techniques, and guided meditations. We begin with tea and conversation, then spend about an hour caring for your grief through yoga and honoring who or what you have lost. Once you step into the room, everything is optional. Come as you are. There is a place for you here. Please note: this workshop is not a replacement for individual therapy and counseling.
