Yin & Restorative Yoga in Westchester

Yin Yoga & Candlelight Restorative

Yin yoga is a slow, cooling style of yoga. Poses, or “shapes,” are held for 3–5 minutes, allowing for lengthening and deep release. This beginner-friendly class helps yogis explore flexibility, awareness, and balance in the mind and body — and it welcomes every body.

Our Candlelight Restorative class is gentler and slower than a regular level 1, made up primarily of restorative yoga postures to facilitate deep states of relaxation. The body is fully supported in relaxing postures, and the complete group of postures moves the spine in all directions. It’s a great class for those new to yoga, anyone with limited flexibility, students recovering from injuries — or anyone who just wants a great relaxation.
